Frequently Asked Questions
What is a day trading journal?
- A day trading journal is a record of every trade you take, enriched with the metrics and context you need to review your performance and improve. Apollo Trader builds that journal automatically from your broker's execution history.
How is Apollo Trader different from a spreadsheet?
- A spreadsheet needs manual entry and manual math. Apollo Trader imports your executions, groups them into trades, and calculates P&L, win rate, and drawdown for you — then visualizes the patterns a spreadsheet can't.
Which brokers can I import from?
- Interactive Brokers, Questrade, Webull, and TradingView CSV exports today, plus a generic CSV format for everything else.
Is Apollo Trader free?
- Yes. Apollo Trader is free to use while we're in public beta. We'll introduce paid plans later, once the feature set justifies them.
Does it support options, futures, or forex?
- Not yet. V1 is focused on stocks so we can do one thing well. More asset types are on the roadmap.
Is my trading data private?
- Yes. Your data is stored securely, never sold, and you can export it back to CSV at any time.
